A year nine Twynham student Oliver James has designed a new logo for the Christchurch Food Festival Education Trust. Oliver carried out his work as part of his year nine project work in Design and Technology. His teacher Mrs Amanda Britton, head of Technology at Twynham School, said “It is vitally important to give students the opportunity to work to real life briefs and showcase the high standard of work they are able to achieve”.
Festival President and charity trustee Mary Reader said “The charitable arm of our festival is now 10 years old and it was decided to change our logo to relate more closely to that of the Food Festival, using the same colours but reflecting the work of the Trust. We received some amazing designs but after much deliberation we felt that Oliver’s met the brief we had set.”
The logo will now be used on all printed material produced by the Trust when it carries out it’s work in local schools and the local community.
